  1. Installation & Activation

    Installation is a one-time process that only takes a few minutes; it is important to install the game correctly before playing. Please follow the instructions below:

    1. Double-click on the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.dmg file and wait for the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars icon to appear on your desktop.

    2. Double-click on the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars icon to open it.

    3. Drag the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars icon onto the Applications folder that appears next to it. It will start to copy across.

    4. Once the copy has finished, drag the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars icon on your Desktop to the Trash. You may now delete the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars.dmg file.

    5. Once installation is complete, double-click on the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars application icon, which is found in the Applications folder on your hard drive. The pre-game Options window will appear showing the Activation Panel.

    6. Enter your Product Key into the six empty boxes. Once the Product Key has been entered, the Save button in the right-hand corner of the Panel will activate.

    7. Click the Save button to save your Product Key.

    8. Click the Activate Online… button in the Activation Panel. A dialog will appear confirming that your Product Key will be sent to Feral's server. Click the Activate Online… button in the dialog. After a few seconds a message will appear confirming that your game has been successfully activated. The Activation Panel will update showing you the number of machines on which you are allowed to activate the game and how many machines are currently activated. In future, you may play the game without an internet connection.

    You can now move onto the "Getting Started" section below, which will take you through playing the game for the first time.

  2. Getting Started

    1. If LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is not already running, double-click on the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars application icon. By default this is to be found in the Applications Folder on your computer's hard drive.

    2. The pre-game Options window will appear. Click on the Play button. The game will launch.

    3. When the title screen appears, press a key on the keyboard, or gamepad button to select the game input device.

    4. Select NEW GAME.

    5. You will be asked to select a SAVE GAME slot. Choose a slot, select YES to confirm and then OK.

    6. You will be taken to the Geonosian arena, where your LEGO® Star Wars™ adventure begins....

  3. LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Performance Tips

    The most important factors in determining how smoothly LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars plays are your CPU speed, the amount of built-in RAM, the type of graphics card in your computer, and the in-game settings you select.

    LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is playable with the minimum specifications listed below, but it will play more smoothly on faster computers with more RAM. However, if you are dissatisfied with the performance of the game on your computer, there are a couple of things you can do that are likely to improve performance:


    In addition to these general Mac actions, there are some specific in-game settings you can select to speed up the game. These are listed below in order of performance improvement (largest improvement first). Move down the list making the recommended changes until you find settings that give you both good performance and acceptable graphics.

  4. Macintosh Specific Extras - Pre-game Options Window

    Feral games come with a pre-game Options window, this is accessed by holding down the Command key (⌘) when you start the game. This window offers Mac-specific extra features, described below.

    Support Tab - Support - A Helping Hand
    If you encounter a problem with LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, you can use the Support tab to consult Feral's online FAQs. If your problem is not covered by the FAQs, you can contact Feral using the automated game report system. This automatically creates a file with information about your computer that is useful to the Feral Technical Support team in helping to solve the problem.

  5. Uninstalling

    If you should wish to uninstall LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, simply drag the LEGO Star Wars III The Clone Wars application from your hard drive and drop it in the Trash, then empty the Trash. You may also wish to remove the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars preferences, which are stored in the Feral Interactive folder in your computer's ~/Library/Application Support folder (where the "~" symbol refers to your home directory). Deleting the Preferences folder will remove the save files, and all game progress will be lost.

    IMPORTANT: If you have more than one game from Feral Interactive installed, remember to check inside the folder so that you do not delete preferences for other Feral Interactive games.

    The following graphics cards are not supported: ATI X1xxx series, NVIDIA 7xxx series and Intel GMA series.

  7. Technical Support

    Every effort has been made to make LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars as compatible with current hardware as possible. However, if you are experiencing problems when running LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, please read on.

    The latest version of the FAQs can be found by selecting the View FAQs button in the Support tab of the pre-game Options window (this is the window that opens when you start the game), or by going straight to the Feral website: http://support.feralinteractive.com

    If the FAQs and/or updates do not solve your problem, then please feel free to contact us. The following information must be obtained before contacting Feral Technical Support:


    All the information required can be obtained by opening LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars and clicking on the Support tab in the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars pre-game Options window. In the Support tab, click on the Generate Report button; this will grey out and a progress wheel and status message will appear below it. Once the report is generated it will appear as a file on your desktop. Now click on the Create e-mail button. Remember to attach the LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Report.txt report to your e-mail.
